Meet Brendan.

Brendan graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) in Victoria, an institution renowned for its comprehensive program that prepares therapists to meet the wide array of health and wellness needs in their communities. He is excited to begin his career in massage therapy in his hometown of Nanaimo.

Before embarking on his journey in massage therapy, Brendan completed a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science at Lubbock Christian University in Texas. There he played NCAA baseball, an experience that deeply informed his understanding of sports, exercise, and the rigours of athletic training. Brendan’s academic and athletic background provides him with a unique perspective on physical wellness, enabling him to relate to athletes’ challenges and the demands placed on their bodies.

Brendan’s approach to therapy is rooted in active rehabilitation. He draws upon his firsthand experiences with injury rehabilitation, offering him an empathetic insight into the struggles of recovering from both acute and chronic pain. This personal understanding fuels his passion for helping others achieve their health and wellness goals.

In his treatments, Brendan employs a variety of techniques to address his clients’ needs, such as deep tissue Swedish massage, trigger point release, stretching, and myofascial release. Recognizing that each client is unique, he customizes every treatment plan to suit their individual needs.

Brendan’s clientele is diverse. He has worked with professional athletes, pregnancy/maternity clients, triathletes, seniors in long-term care, and many others. With a versatile skill set, he is committed to providing exceptional care to everyone he works with.

Outside of the clinic, Brendan spends his free time staying active with sports and weightlifting, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with his wife, family, and friends.
