COVID-19: What we’re doing, and how we’re moving forward

We are ready. We have changed our start times. We have moved to almost zero-contact, other than when our hands are with you.


What to expect from us:

  • All bookings now require a short pre-screening survey. You will be asked to self-assess for any COVID-19 related symptoms. We will follow up directly the day before your appointment if this pre-screen is not done. This pre-screening email will also describe what will be required by you, the patient, which is mainly your honesty about your health.
  • You will not be charged for cancelling appointments due to COVID-19-like symptoms, or if you have had contact with someone with COVID-19 like symptoms. There is no penalty for safety and protecting our community!
  • RMTs and clients must wear a mask during every treatment. This is a standard set by the College of Massage Therapists.
  • We will be self-assessing ourselves daily. We are watching for any symptoms that could even be mildly related to COVID-19 to keep you and our staff safe. We will not return to work until we are symptom-free or advised by a Physician that we are cleared to work.
  • We have increased our cleaning and sanitization routines in the common areas and our treatment spaces. We have increased ventilation in all treatment rooms.

Client requirements:

  • Confirm you are in good health before visiting the clinic by completing the pre-screening survey that is sent to you.
  • Do not enter the clinic until 2-3 minutes prior to your appointment start time.
  • We ask that you mask prior to entering the clinic, as our reception area is considered an indoor public space.
  • Use one of our multiple hand washing stations and sanitizer options upon your arrival.
  • Come alone to your appointment if possible. Otherwise, please call in advance so we can secure distancing procedures.
  • Our admin staff will ask you some screening questions, take payment if needed (we have increased our card “tap” limit), and will email receipts.
  • Take a seat if needed, or stand on one of our “X’s” in the large reception area.
  • Your RMT will be masked upon greeting you, and may ask more screening questions. We will record your consent and move along with treatment if it is safe to do so.
  • Your RMT may choose to see you at another date if they have any concerns; safety for everyone is paramount!
  • Please bring a fresh/clean mask to all sessions (we will have them at the clinic if you require one).
  • If you choose to NOT wear a mask (either your own, or one provided to you) we will NOT provide you service.
  • If you are UNABLE to be masked due to disability, your treatment may be postponed should your RMT decide that is the safest course of action.
  • We will do our best to book your follow-up treatment while you are in your appointment. Unfortunately we cannot have our usual casual conversations at the front reception area for the time being.
  • You are welcome to call us to schedule your next booking if needed!

We understand if you are not ready to come in for massage. That is normal.

As always, we respect what you decide is best for you. No judgement. We will be as safe as possible, but how you feel matters to us.
