Meet Stephanie.

Hi, I’m Stephanie Funk! I am a Registered Acupuncturist practicing in Nanaimo, BC.

I provide my clients with a tailored treatment for their issues using the many modalities of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). My services include:

My path to becoming a Registered Acupuncturist took me to many places before I settled here in Nanaimo. My early years were spent in southern Ontario, where I studied for my Bachelor of Arts in International Comparative Studies at Huron University College.

During my studies I travelled the globe studying marginalized populations. My desire to bring healing to others led me to work as a caregiver for developmentally disabled individuals in Honduras, India, and Canada. I went on to work as a tree planter in Northern Alberta, and began to explore Western Canada in my winters.

After five years of hard work in the reforestation industry I began my studies to become a Registered Acupuncturist. I completed my designation, a 3-year Diploma of Acupuncture, at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC.
